Great review! I'll put this on my "to read" list.

I've recently completed a sci-fi/tech thriller book, Unholy Domain by Dan Ronco. It's got a widening divide between religious fundamentalism andscientific progress, plus a clash of cultures, science enhancing humanicity through genetics and artificial intelligence and conflicts galore, as a result. A horrific computer virus has led to a crumbling civilization and created a schism between those who think technology will save the world and those who believe it will ruin it, instead. David Brown receives a long-delayed email from his long-deceased father (the world believes the father unleashed the virus), indicating his father was trying to find the real cyber criminals. As David works to clear his father''s name, he stumbles into a war between the pro and anti- tech forces (including the Domain, of the title).

"Unholy Domain" is the best tech thriller since "Jurassic Park."
