I stopped about book 7 or 8 for th same reasons you described. The never ending soft core sex scenes took the place of any plot or mystery. I guess I've got to give book two of Foundation a go. I read the first one a few years back, but it was very boring. I heard it gets better though. I can’t believe you made it the 12th book of the Anita Blake series.
