Tomball Cougar Pride Band
A LARGE shout-out to the Tomball High School Cougar Pride Marching Band. They had a very successful October contest season, including:
- October 6::Katy Marching Contest
- First Division Superior Rating
- Outstanding Drum Majors – 5A
- Outstanding Drum Line – 5A
- Outstanding Color Guard – 5A
- Best in Class (First Place) – 5A
- October 13::Blinn College Marching Contest
- UIL – received First Division Superior Ratings from all three judges
- October 27::Sam Houston State University Marching Contest
- one of only eleven bands out of 28 that made it through the preliminaries to the finals;
- 6th place overall.
The routine looked great every time we saw it, with the two marches at the Sam Houston contest being outstanding (the look of intimidation at the end of the set scared me!).
Congrats to Josh, Logan, Missy, Tara, Reed, Ben, Johan and more than 180 others, and to Jeff, Andy, Chris and Heather for whipping the team into great fighting form.
The THS band looked great. They should have taken this comptition. I think the judges at SHSU were blind to this great performance. Keep it up THS. Go COUGS!!!
thanks mr ketchersid for the support and i think your book looks interesting after josh’s presentaion yesterday
Thank you Julie, and thanks for the excellent paper about my son. Larry.
